Only 2 bags for companion with 50lb limit. One of the bags was 65lb, the agent collected $100 as excess fee. Had to pay.

ps- this was back in March 2011
As a 1K - why wouldnt you claim the 'heavy bag' and give your companion the light bag so that you dont have to pay any fees? Am I missing something?
