Applying from Mumbai for Schengen Visa. H1-B expires in September. Trip in July
Hello,

My H1-B visa expires in September.
I am planning a trip to France in July.
The French consulate at Boston told me that they couldn't give me a visa, because since I am applying from the US - my US visa should be valid for 3 months after my trip.

I am planning on applying from the Mumbai office.
I have an Indian passport.
Is that okay?

Any advice would be helpful.
