Thanks. That would narrow down her choices to the single UA flight at 1830, then, which still shows F5 and nothing else. I see she could also make the UA ORD-LHR at 1617, connecting to LH, but guess that raises the same issue as to whether UA could get her on LH LHR-FRA.
The 1830 UA ORD-FRA just went to zero in all classes. Hope she got one of the last F seats with UA phone reservations before they disappeared. Looks like another option to stay on UA metal would be a 1628 departure ORD-IAD-FRA. The second segment shows F6 right now.
Looking at UA departures in the current hour from ORD, they've canceled DTW, DCA, PWM, PHL, SGF, TUL, MSP, IND, SPI, LGA and YWG. Lots of 1-2 hour delays posted, too. Looks like it's turning into an interesting day there.
