Thanks for the report! I was in Oaxaca three years ago and I can really echo your impressions. We took a night bus from México to Oaxaca and arrived at the bus station around 4.30 am. A bit disoriented feeling I might say... We continued after 4 days by bus (12 hrs, feeling very sick, shouldn´t have eaten that creme caramel) to Puerto Angel, which was fabulous. We drove past Puerto Escondido and I really think Puerto Angel seemed much nicer. It was raining hard on one night and we made a bit too close encounters with scorpions in our bathroom. Come to think of it, there´s at least one good thing in Finnish winter; no scorpions!
