Surprised that Southwest was so low back then -- I didn't remember that. Perhaps the free bags bolstered the perceived quality? If anything, recent years seem to have the general perception of Southwest as "not like it used to be". And I wonder what lead Frontier to drop from the #2 spot. Although some might be tempted to bring the litany of today's shortcomings, the drop came between 2007 and 2008.
