Virtually never. As soon as I board, I break out my Bose QC15s and my iPod, which effectively precludes any conversation. When the door is shut, the Bose get replaced with either earbuds or UA's hand-out headphones and I listen to Channel 9. As soon as we get the double-ding, the Bose and the iPod come out again.
