It's one of the corporate carriers (but then so is KLM as we're anglo-dutch) - but BA is way better than KLM and crucially has WTP which is the highest class we're allowed on business travel. Plus all the direct flights - and LGW although that has been diminished lately, causing me to fly both Malev (still OW) and easyJet (oh horror) recently.

But once status is being earned on one carrier/alliance it makes sense to stick with it. I don't fly enough to get status on two airlines.
