Great report so far (but at this rate, it'll take you all day to get through your vacation!)

Truffles, chocolates and split of wine have always been the amenity waiting for me at the W New Orleans.

For future reference, if you find the feather pillows too soft at the W, you should request synthetic. On the other hand, I find the pillows at the W perfect. Each to their own, I guess!

I agree, 2122 is a nice room (view over the river, right?) I prefer 1522 (which is the same room, but on a smoking floor.

They must have done something to the elevators, because my feeling was always "what slow elevators).

Can't wait for the next installment!
