Hi - I'm looking forward to my stay in November.

The lavender pouch mentioned upthread really concerns me. I am very allergic to lavender and would probably need new pillows and linens if I found that in my room. I also really hate the smell of air fresheners, scented cleaners, and scented laundry detergents. I think that if a place is clean, it doesn't need perfumes to cover up any smells. <shrug>

I like the idea of the ability to eat in the Executive Lounge -or- a hot breakfast buffet in the main lobby (even if there is an surcharge for the full buffet).

Finally, I always need to be able to plug in a laptop at the desk and a CPAP machine on the nightstand, so ample electrical outlets or power strips (with enough space to use a US-to-Australia power converter) are appreciated.

One of the most memorable hotel touches I have ever seen was at a Hilton in Brussels. On the executive floor, there was a little compartment in the wall between the restroom and the main hallway in all the rooms. You could put your shoes in there at night, and someone would shine them and return them to you, ready the next morning. At the Conrad Hong Kong, they offered complimentary pressing for one item per day. I'm not suggesting you do exactly this, but a little touch like that - one luxury service that is complimentary and well-published - really stands out.
