Mid-flight meal service is sadly "at the discretion of the SFS" whether it is actually served to passengers in Biz class or not. It is catered but the crew are not supposed to go into the aisles to serve it if doing so would disturb sleeping passengers. Some lazy crews see this as an excuse to simply skip the service. It's the same with breakfast service on some overnight flights. Again, biz class gets the short end of the stick. First is dine-on-demand and Economy is formulaic, but Biz winds up being squeezed.
True, but my point is that there was no veg options this time on the menu for the mid flight snack.
They always listed some sort of veg pasta as a mid flight meal on this flight (to/from DXB) for the past 10+ months I have been traveling.
