pass thru security, go to Tower Lounge, go to LH departure gate.
How much time should be alloted for immigration & security clearance?
Since luggage will be checked thru from the USA to MAD, I shouldn't have to claim it in FRA?
I am quite sure the Welcome lounge closes at 12:30- so unless you are early arriving I think you will be arriving as it is closing. Also- as your flight is Madrid- will be difficult to get to the Tower Lounge as it is past passport control (it is ex-Schengen)- so they will probably encourage you not to pass through here (the sign I do believe labelled USA flights). What you may want to do is go to the Business Lounge on arrival and have a shower there.
