There's not really a catch. I did one of these last year in Orlando.

1. You (and your spouse if you have one) are required to schedule a time to attend a timeshare pitch. The whole thing took about 2 hours max. (They did say 1-hour...) The sales presentation isn't really high pressure. After you say "No", they will offer you incentives if you buy today, and then they will stop. Our sales rep said "Hilton wants this to be a pleasant experience and a good reflection on the Hilton name." So unless you are someone who really feels guilty if you don't buy something, no worries.

2. The hotel rooms (at least in Orlando - we ended up staying at a Doubletree because we preferred the location) were standard rooms. If they promised you a 2-room suite at one of the timeshare properties, it will probably be pretty nice - they are all fairly new, and this is a property they want you to like enough to 'buy'.

3. The $100 towards a Hilton stay is actually a refund - you have to stay at a Hilton sometime in the next 6 months (starting the day of your timeshare pitch), then mail in your receipt along with a certificate you receive after the presentation. The check takes several weeks, but you will receive it.

4. They really wanted us to schedule our presentation on the first day we arrived, but we couldn't due to a prior commitment, so they eventually let us schedule a different time.

If you need/want to spend a few days in Orlando, it's a fair deal. Depending on the time of year, $100 per night in Orlando can be a great deal or a fair price, so as long as you don't mind wasting a couple of hours one day, it's pretty hard to really get screwed on this deal. The $100 certificate for a future stay is bonus if you will use it.
