I recently was visiting Switzerland and used both my Visa and Amex card for purchases just to compare the FOREX rates. Is it my imagination or is Amex always about 1.5% - 2% worse than any other provider?

In my case I have a Euros card and the conversion was from Swiss franks to Euros.
