What a mess.... the weather folks are saying that the ash is already over Buenos Aires, but that if anything will be noted by folks on the ground, it will be later this evening. The situation is of course different for aircraft operations, as there seems to be quite a bit of dust around 8000-10000 meters, hence all the flights being killed.

Apparently, things should get back to normal in about 48-72 hours provided the volcano does not act up again.
