We have been promised so much at several official and unofficial occaisions. I personally don't trust DL an inch on that updates. Since 2007, we have been promised to see the updates (especially on the 763) within "the next year". What happened until the end of 2010? Nothing.
Then they introduced EC and it started to look bright - but wth?! - they changed the seats but still no power, nor proper IFE. Anyway, they "promised" us the badly needed updates to BE and even published a time line. What happened? Not so much. Even worse, just take TXL-JFK as an example: been on the 763 update list for completion at June, 16th and now, bang, suspended.

Things change in the airline industry all the time. Much of it is out of Delta's control, or any other airline's for that matter. many different factors affect decisions that were made 'yesterday'. Its unfortunate, but its the nature of the beast, the way of the 'land' (....air!!....
