I just booked a ticket for my father who has a long name. His name is in my account in the travelers list and spelled correctly. However once I booked the ticket I got the confirmation email and found that his first name is missing the last 2 characters..what the heck ! I check Virgin Atlantic on which the flight is booked and found the same issue.. I googled and found that expedia has this limitation with long names and truncates the first name...Would this be an issue? I emailed expedia anyways..
