The hotel itself is standard HP, but I think it's new (so not a former Amerisuites). I've been checked-in by several trainee front desk agents (who know less about the hotel than I do). The hotel also seems to have higher-than-average rates (around $140-180 a night), possibly because it's the only decent chain hotel in the area. As for the area itself, the hotel itself appears to be in an old industrial area that would seem extremely sketchy except there's another new hotel next to it. There is a grocery store about a mile away and (going the other direction) a mall with several restaurants also about a mile away.

Bottom line: A decent HP, but with abnormally high room rates. I typically only stay here during FFN or other great Hyatt promos.
