we got our first starwood card when you had to stay at hotels X amount of times and pay using the amex card to pay for the stays to get 10000 starpoints. we have never had the 10000 + 15000 promotion. so we got rid of one of our starwood card we were not using 2 years ago and re-applied for this new promotion. we were told we will get it. still waiting to see.
