It's not simply that Colgan had a fatal accident - most carriers have, as you mentioned. It's *why* they had that fatal accident.
Not knowing (or not trained) in the shaker/pusher was rather foretelling to me. I was amazed since in the aircraft I train in a shaker/pusher test is done prior to EACH flight.
