I just traveled in Spain with my wife and I am confused.

When consulting the website online, it indicated that a guest would be charged 18 Euros.

My wife is the cardholder and I was the guest -- we were on the same itinerary, and in both MAD and BCN, there was no charge for me. Were we lucky??
