[QUOTE=laxabq;16504681]Of course SWA makes it difficult to find your TF...why would they make it easy? Ditto on the expired RR tickets....

Correct on TTFs. Incorrect on expired RR tickets - those are easy to find.

No, I don't think anyone is suggesting that. If you've lost your RR number or password, call and get it. If you can't find your expired RR awards online, call and ask about them.

All I'm suggesting is that CSR's not read out every detail about your RR account every time you call for other purposes. If you call and ask about your RR account, then by all means Southwest should dutifully answer all of your questions.

A different take to this topic: maybe it would be helpful if Southwest sent an automatic email notice 30 days before an award expires and again 30 days before the reissue deadline hits. Other airlines do this for mileage expiry - they've obviously deemed it more in their interest to reengage you as a customer than to simply wipe your miles off the books. An email would be cheap to develop and wouldn't require them to change their operations. Let's be honest...soon enough this will all be a moot point as old awards leave the system entirely, so they aren't going to spend much at all to improve the "old" system.
