My First CO/UA Flight

Just a hop skip jump from EWR to JAX on a UA Express/CO flight. Equipment was nice. A 2/2 Embraer - not a 2/1. UA Express - unlike CO - has extra leg room seats in the front of the cabin - even a couple of first class seats. Much nicer plane than CO usually flies on this route.

The flight was only about 30% full - Saturday afternoon Memorial Day weekend - and no one complained about us 20 or so passengers spreading out when the seat belt light went off. The flight was initially delayed about 20 minutes because a cabin attendant got sick - and had to be replaced. But the pilot stepped on the gas - and got us in on time.

I really don't know much about UA (it doesn't have a lot of flights out of JAX). But I got a favorable first post-merger impression. Robyn
