My work requires me to use remote desktop protocols to access computers all around the world and interact with them, and that part of my job is definitely getting harder and harder over Gogo (whether on AS or AA). I used to be able to use 16 bit color with reasonable lag, now I'm down to 8 bit and nearly unusable lag. I've mentioned this before, but I wish there were a Gogo plan that offered a higher QoS than others, at a premium price--I'd be willing to pay more if it meant I could more easily do my job.

Streaming video will not go through the air to ground wireless link--this has been announced and confirmed by
ExpertFlyer Voice here on FT--so it's not going to impact our already meagre Internet speeds. The only way such a thing would happen is if the orders-of-magnitude-fatter WiFi pipe also gets saturated, which seems unlikely given it will be a pay service.
