Recently cancelled my Platinum card. Received a letter in the mail shortly thereafter, stating that the Priority Pass complimentary benefit is strictly for Platinum card members. As such, membership in PP was being terminated and included an offer to pay for PP select. I too had hoped that the long-dated expiry date would continue to keep the membership active, though not surprising that Amex was on right on top of it.
