Right here, I am very confused.. If Fritz has had problems with Joseph, then why has he not been pulled off the line, or fired? If I were the supervisor, I would have immediately pulled Joseph off the x-ray, and sent him home, without pay..).
That is easy to say when you are not the supervisor. However, just as you would like to TSA to follow their own rules, there are rules concerning how a supervisor has to deal with a Federal employee. It is far from simple as sending someone home especially without pay. I believe something should be done but it has to be done correctly and that means it is rarely immediate.
