Wow--just realized that Park Lane is a level 5 now. Holy cow! I stayed at Le Meridien Piccadilly in April, using points redeemed when it was a level 5 (booked in February, but was already level 6 when I showed up?)! As someone who "wandered" into Park Lane while staying at LHM, there's no comparison between the two, especially if you can upgrade to a Club or Suite at LMP (I spent an extra 2k/night for that).
