Well, it wasn't the first ticket I've bought with that card, so I'm not sure it is them. On the other hand, as it was explained about one lump charge as the hold and then 3 separate ticket charges coming through not matching, so the block can't fall off makes some sense. I've mostly bought tickets one at a time, or multiples I've used miles, so I'm not sure I've run into this before. But the CC company explained it is now a United practice. So I was hoping (dreaming?) someone from UA would clarify or confirm it.
