Guess it depends on perspective, I think I've been treated ok by other *A airlines, but then, my expectations are quite low of all airlines in general Note: I think the OW airlines, generally speaking, treat their members better than *A does, which is why I keep top-tier on both.

I don't mind if UA gives E+ for *G at all... LH, for example, gives lounge access to *G even when on a coach ticket, that's quite nice. As a result, I don't mind that *G gets E+ when other *A carriers give me something that I value in return, such as lounge access. Honestly, I fly coach on LH in Germany because LH's doggone J seat pitch is the same as Y! Only thing you get in J on LH is an empty seat between you and your neighbor, so the lounge means much more to me. UA doesn't give domestic *G lounge access, but E+ is a fair compromise IMO. I do wish that *A would give lounge access similar to OW (FCL access to top-tier), but alas, that's just wishful thinking....
