The more inquiries you have and the more recent they are, the less likely you will be approved. If you have a small number of inquiries showing up for a given agency you should look at applying for cards that are likely to pull that agency. It is an educated guess as to what agency will be pulled but it's a good bet that barclays will pull transunion.
