Thanks for the veery informative report. I am going ORD/NRT/PEK/BKK/SIN/KUL/FRA/ROM/FRA/ORD Jan and Feb 2000, all F (Ouch, I paid for the ticket) using StarAlliance so I will be able to compare with much of your experience. If you are at all interested, I will try to do as well as you have done when I return and copy you at your email address.
