I had another afternoon to spend at Billund airport, which was quite compact. Lots of charter activities, as well as number of Cimber Air flights to CPH and other European cities… Ryannair also flies there but no flight during my four hours stay. Air France operates a few regional flights there, as well as a surprisingly number of KLM 737 flights to AMS. British Airways/Sun Air also operates a number of flights to various European and UK cities using mostly Dornier 328 Turboprop and 328 Jet. The airport was slightly busy with number of charter flights, but not overwhelming. Every staff looked happy. The security line was manageable and I feel safe even I don’t have to take off my shoes for scanning, or go through a body scan.
