Transit:
I had almost two and a half hours at Copenhagen Airport, and CPH is quite a nice European airport filled with shops and restaurants. I was hungry so decided to grab a bite. The Asian noodle place was a disappointment and the Teriyaki chicken was overly sweet and left a bad taste in my mouth. Well I headed to the SAS Lounge next, since I am a Star Gold member flying SAS. Of course the lounge attendant denied my entry claiming that Cimber was no longer paying entry fee for their flights, but then I said, despite this flight was operated by Cimber Air, I bought the ticket with SAS. It was technically a SAS flight and SAS was just paying Cimber Air. Then she asked where I came from, Berlin Tegel on SAS! She said no, but I guess SAS has followed their US counterparts on denying intra-European flights passengers to use the lounge. This bitter experience really left me wondering if I should book SAS again in the future. If a LCC was selling a flight cheaper, I would go for it. Then I went back to the restaurant area and finally settled on a pasta dish that was slightly better than the Asian noodle place.
Boarding:
Cimber Air uses Pier A and it was quite an interesting terminal. It was quite a walk but I enjoy all the paintings and architecture. Planespotting was a bit sparse in the early afternoon hours. There were a couple Cimber planes, as well as SN Brussels, Air France and KLM. The airport was quite big and the planes were pretty spread out.
