Yes. Your problem is in exiting security, checking bags and re-clearing security. Gate-to-gate you can walk slowly in no more than 10 mins., likely much less. US requires you to be onboard 10 mins prior to scheduled departure and you have 1:40 between flights. With a 10-minute walk, you can sustain a 1:20 delay and still make your connection. I would not delay in calling US today.
