I'm intrigued!
So. Given that, for instance, the price of a Z1-3 Monthly Travelcard is £123.70, the price of a Z1-3 Annual Travelcard is £1,288 and that the price of the latter is 10.41x the price of the former (and thus when you're buying an Annual Travelcard, you're paying for 10.41 months but getting 12), is there any similar sort of pro-rating going on when you buy something in between 1 and 12 months? What's the scale?
