AC doesn't have a clear focus. It wants to be the jack of all trades....as evident with it's return to YTZ, and bending the pilots over a barrell to start another LCC.
As the saying goes: jack of all trades, master of none.
AC would like to fill the J cabin with full J all the time. It can't and it doesn't.
The evidence can be found in hidden city ticketing.
AC also needs to upgrade some frequent flyers to the front cabin. If they don't these people will defect to other carriers that do. Latitude fares are another example.
We FTer's may be dissapointed that AC doesn't listen to us. Yes we know the ins and outs.
Every business has customers that know more about the business than employees/management.
A pub I go to has a salmon burger with saled and a salmon steak with veggies. The first is $2 less than the latter. Order the burger with no bun and it's damn near the same but $2 cheaper. Is that an example of hidden city ticketing?
SMD3 would be a good opportunity for AC to learn about it's business. Was it SMD2 that CO admitted some megadoers knew more about it's busines than they did?
