You are not suppose to take any food or drinks out of the SC. It would be a violation of their liquor license in some states.

I have seen people come in and fill up their water bottle with the bottled water. And due to the FA's being awful about providing a PDB lately, I have started taking my empty coffee travel cup with me through security and filling it up in the SC and using that as my PDB.
