I have several upcoming train trips this coming July, and wanted to see if anyone in this forum could provide advice.

Prague - Vienna: Based on my reading, I have heard that simply purchasing a ticket in Prague (maybe a day or two before I depart) is the cheapest / best option. Thoughts?

Vienna - Budapest: Had read that this is one of the few routes that I can save on by booking a specific train in advance. I can currently get to 2nd class seats on the RailJet for 38 Euros total. Is that a good rate?

Finally, and most importantly, I am considering travelling on the Budapest - Venice night train. I have read a lot of both neutral to bad reviews of the train, but any input by someone who has actually traveled the route would be appreciate. If I am travelling in mid July and would like to reserve a 2 person sleeper, is that something that I can accomplish at a reasonable price two days in advance in Budapest?
