My best guess is, all of the above.
Recent strategy seems to show that nowadays they care about VFFs. OTOH, they also clearly want to operate as an LCC.
Before Calin came back, the feeling one had was that the emphasis on the latter often would end up standing in the way of the former. To some extent this clearly has now been fixed.
However whether it is really feasible, and/or whether it is a valid strategy to try being everything to everyone remains to be seen.
My (admittedly anecdotal) impression however is that, in the context of current labor issues, some of the progress made in recent years in having front line people treating customers as customers, has now somewhat been lost.
