What is the target audience of AC?
There are many comments here that question "Why would AC do ______ when it would potentially peeve their most frequent customers?"
Now reasonably, most of us here are frequent fliers who also happen to know more ins and outs of the industry. Yet time and again, our little, free "focus group" is not sought out for input. I can only conclude then, that reasonably we here on FT do not make up the target audience of AC. So be it.
It then leads to the question, who is the target audience of AC? Is it:
- the business traveller who always flies paid J (does this type of person exist?)
- Frequent Fliers who fly 2-3 times per month (or more)
- People who spend a lot of money without necessarily flying that much
- VBITs
Who exactly is AC trying to cater to? (I have a cynical answer I'll post later on.)
