FYI, Lava Cake god riddens!...finally (sigh) hello Chocolate Pecan Pie! Last night on #033 from YVR-SYD we were pleasantly surprised by the new addition of a Signature as AC promised they would be changing in June of this year.
Although the menu had said Lava Cake the welcome addition of a warm chocolate pecan pie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is AMAZING cold or hot...tried it both ways (one for dinner cold since I had the Flex Meal and one at breakfast warm with ice cream). They catered the flight with this new Signature dessert instead. Don't know if it was a scheduled event or a premature roll out but KUDOS to AC for this welcomed new addition to the offerings onboard. The portion is quite generous and complimented very well with the same vanilla ice cream as served on the Lava Cake.
As a dessert lover I can't thank AC immensely!^

Has anyone else had it on any of there flights in the past 24 hours?
This is one enhancement I can defenitely live with weekly on my long haul flights to the Orient!^
