We stayed there last October on Dc points. It's a great location and a really upscale MVCI resort. It's a high rise so you have to like that type of setup and we don't particularly but I have to say the views were spectacular. The first seven floors are parking and then the offices for sales take up a couple more so the lowest floor you'll be on will be about 9. You should put in a request for either the north side (full shade) or the south side (full sun). Both views are great. There is an ocean front side but I don't think you have much of a shot at that unless you own there.

Th restaurant is mainly fast food fare but the marketplace serves some really good breakfast fare. The beach isn't small, it's public so once you step on the sand you can go anywhere. They have complimentary chaise lounges but you have to pay for umbrella's. There is no association with Ocean Pointe down the street whatsoever. They share no activities and if you are staying at one you do not have privileges at the other. Unlike most MVCI properties this one has room service if you desire.

I concur that Sailfish Marina's restaurant is not that good although they serve some good sandwiches at lunchtime. We've given up on dinner's there. Capt Charlies Reef Grill is one of the true hidden gems in the area if you like seafood. I could reel off a dozen good restaurants in the area. Let me know if you want a few recommendations.
