If it doesn't count as your "once in a lifetime" status match, it could be worth it just in case you have to fly DL at all. OTOH, if it does count as such (and I suspect it does), that would be a huge waste unless you're planning to switch and switch with a lot of business given you only have 6 months to get 2012 status.
