Who can the tickets be issued to?
Aunt is on family account, she doesn't travel (elderly) and has her own Chase BA cc account. DH just got the Visa card (plus bonus) and now we have 2 big tuitions to pay soon. Can split it up on either (or both) cards so will easily make the 30K spend. If we do it on Aunt's card I wonder if the rest of the family who's on the family account can use the 2 4 1 cert. so in effect our family of 4 will be able to go away next year using only 1/2 the usual miles. That would be sweet since we're hoping to take the kids to London some time and also would like to travel on to another BA destination as final stop.
