So apparently I just found out online that UA/CO fly 2x weekly Guam to Cairns, Australia in the state of Queensland.

Am I thinking I am mentally insane if I book this flight to actually go from the USA to Australia connecting through Houston, Honolulu, Guam and finally Cairns!?

ANZ flies there to Auckland too in *A and obviously QF domestic to other states.

I know CO/UA don't really advertise this route as they rather rip you off by routing you through the 14 hour SYD/MEL-LAX/SFO non-stops as sane people would.

I'm thinking of doing this trip for the miles. Has anyone here done it in the States or Oz!?
