By the way, in the vain hope that a PLT could ever get an upgrade DFW-LGA, as a connecting pax, do I trump other PLTs unless they first requested an upgrade before me and are also a connecting pax (unless they requested earlier and are misconnects)?

If I miss my flight because the FAT-DFW flight is late, do I rank higher (although still below EXP) because I'm now also a misconnect (although I'd have to talk to a gate agent to make sure I'm entered properly)?

Or do I misunderstand the process?
