I've been following the forums here since I booked our tickets in Feb. I've learned that the kids can join us in the lounges, including CCR, but I have questions about whether there are other ways the benefits of our First tickets may "rub off" on the kids.
1. If we use the First check-in desk, can the kids check in with us, or do they have to go to the other line?
Technically I think not, since it is a separate booking. I would however ask the attendant if it's ok to do so.
2. At LHR, the stated check in time is 3 hrs. prior. If we arrive earlier than that, can the kids check in with us, or will they be required to wait until the appropriate time?
3 hours is the recommended MINIMUM. However 45 minutes is the actual minimum. You can certainly all check-in 3 or 4 hours early.
3. Will they be allowed to go through Fast Track security with us?
As per question 1. Fast Track is not necessarily particularly fast btw.
4. What about Priority Boarding? Will they be allowed to enter with us, or have to wait until their row is called?
They should wait, as they are not travelling in the same cabin as you or on the same booking.
