Just got back from a 3 night stay in San Diego and stayed at the Doubletree downtown, when I went to check-in at the desk, the agent said she couldn't accept the Hilton HHonors cards? It was my understanding she meant that they aren't a part of the program.

Any reason why this happened and why I can't get points at this hotel?
