Hrm, between this thread and the one about the Concorde, I'm all bummed again. So many missed experiences. I should go to SXM before I miss that too. I thought about stopping by to see the remains of Kai Tak earlier this month but I'd imagine there's nothing worth seeing.

It's a little disheartening that the most "exciting" travel (*) experience I can score these days is a good seat on a 747 (UD or nose).

So very sad now.


(update: of course I meant "flying experience" - I didn't mean the flight is the only good part of traveling)
