I've always wanted to ask what the value of AClub points really is, and decided to find out for myself with a bit of math so just a quick break down.

1000 Euro at the basic level will net you 2000 points.
1000 Euro at Silver will net you 3000 points.
1000 Euro at Gold will net you 3500 points
1000 Euro at Platinum will net you 4000 points.

4000 points is enough to convert to 2000 miles on EK:
- As a general benchmark for airline conversions (I use EK in this example because I know it costs 2.5 cents per mile) - which is worth 50USD.

Therefore in this scenario at Basic level, your 1000 Euro spent is worth only 25USD on EK. but a full 50USD at Plat. YMMV and of course this is assuming you're paying to receive these miles and not actually placing your butt in a seat/mattress to get those miles.

On the flipside, you can get a 60USD Voucher on the website for 2000 points. and with 4000 points would net you a total of 120USD. (which after exchange is probably the best amount you can get at the moment)
