Question - Do the United Express flights all leave from the same gate area at LAX? The flights that we're looking at have a 30-35 minute connection time which would seem to be enough (hoping that it's not like ORD and trying to go from F11 to C28)...

I think it's depand on the airplane size. Most EMB use the gate 71 which you need walk down the ground then boarding, And the little bit bigger CRJ leaving from T-8 which you got bridge to the plane.
